SESSION & BOOKING POLICIES
COLOUR SESSIONS
All new colour clients are invited to attend a complimentary consultation prior to booking their first appointment. This allows us to assess your hair, discuss your goals, manage expectations and ensure the correct service is booked. An allergy test is required at least 48 hours before any colour appointment. This applies to all new clients and to returning clients who have not had a colour service with us in the past six months.
CANCELLATIONS
We request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. If cancellations occur with less than 24 hours' notice, a charge of 50% of the booked service will apply. This policy enables us to manage our schedule efficiently and allows us to offer the appointment slot to another guest. We appreciate your understanding and consideration regarding our time and business operations. Thank you for your cooperation.
LATE ARRIVALS
If you arrive late to your appointment, your stylist may need to shorten the service or reschedule depending on the time available.
This ensures we remain fair to the next client booked in the diary. If you think you may be running late, please contact your stylist as soon as possible.
SESSION TIMING
Appointments at Studio U. are booked as dedicated sessions to allow enough time for consultation, application and finishing.
If additional work is required during your appointment that falls outside the booked session time, it may need to be rescheduled for another visit.
ADJUSTMENTS
We want you to leave feeling confident and happy with your hair.
If you have any concerns following your appointment, please contact your stylist within 7 days so they can review the work and discuss any adjustments if needed.
EXTENSIONS
Hair extensions require a consultation prior to booking to determine the correct method, colour match and hair order.
This ensures the best possible result and allows enough time to plan the appointment properly.
CHILDREN
Studio U. is a relaxed and welcoming space, and we understand that childcare is not always easy. Children and babies are welcome to attend appointments, particularly for new mothers who may need to bring their little ones along. However, as this is an open working salon environment, we kindly ask that children remain supervised and seated where possible so that stylists can work safely and other clients can enjoy a calm experience.
INDEPENDANT ARTISTS
Studio U. is home to a collective of independent stylists. Each artist manages their own bookings, pricing and availability.
While we share the same space and values, certain policies or booking methods may vary slightly depending on the stylist you choose.
